Welcome to the Cathedral of the Holy Family - A Parish in Transition!
We have had several significant changes recently: new Mass times, new location, and a new phone number.
NEW MASS TIMES:
Our Sunday Mass times are: 9:00am, 11:30am, 6:30pm. We no longer have a Saturday evening Mass. As well, the 9:30am Mass has moved to 9:00am. Also see our Holiday Mass Times.
NEW LOCATION:
We have moved to our new church building, the Cathedral of the Holy Family. It is located at 123 Nelson Road (click on the address for a map), just off Attridge Drive and right beside St. Joseph High School. There are two accesses:
- Off Nelson Road: Going north from Attridge, turn left at the first traffic circle and follow the road as it wraps around St. Joseph HS. The cathedral will be on your right.
- Off Forestry Farm Park Drive: Going north from Attridge, take your first right and follow it down to the parking lots. Be aware that there are no traffic lights at this intersection. Turning left is very challenging at times. It is often simpler to use the Nelson Road entrance.
You can't miss it. It looks like this:
Please note that the new building is still under active construction. Many areas are still not accessible to the general public (or staff, for that matter). The main entrance is not accessible during the week, though it will be open for our weekend (Christmas) Masses.
NEW PHONE NUMBER:
Our new phone number is (306) 659-5800. We may be delayed returning calls due to the continued construction and our recent move. We appreciate your patience.
We are Holy Family Parish, a Roman Catholic Christian community of approximately 1900 families. We serve the spiritual and pastoral needs of Saskatoon’s neighbourhoods of Sutherland, Forestgrove, Arbor Creek, Erindale, College Park, Silverspring, University Heights and the ever-growing and developing area of Willowgrove. We were previously located at 110 - 104th Street in the heart of Sutherland and we are an active and growing community of believers.
We welcome all people to our celebrations and hope that you find at Holy Family a friendly and hospitable environment where you can grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ as we strive to build up on the earth the Kingdom of God. As our Parish name suggests and embodies, we are the Holy Family, and as such, we strive to be all-inclusive and we honour and celebrate the great diversity of culture, ethnicity, and way of life of our parish community. We are all Pilgrims on this great Journey and we need one another.
Because of the incredible growth in our area of the city we have embarked on a campaign to fundraise and construct our new Parish Home; a home that will also be designated the new Cathedral for the Diocese of Saskatoon. Our ongoing financial campaign continues as we vision and prepare for our new Home. It is also our hope that you join us in support of this venture, both prayerful and financial. Please join us for worship and consider becoming a part of our Parish Family by registering at the Parish Office and by volunteering for one of the many liturgical, pastoral and spiritual ministries.
May you be blessed today and always.
